Goals

Goals shows a target progress bar on your live screen. Viewers can see how close you are to your target, and the bar fills up on its own as their contributions come in.

What is Goals

A visible target gives viewers a reason to chip in, because they can see their contribution actually move something. When the target is reached, IndoFinity can run an Interaction to celebrate.

Gift Gallery gives each gift type its own target. Goals counts one combined target.

Before you start

Your TikTok Live must be connected.

Add the overlay

Open the Goals menu in the dashboard, find the Install Overlay in OBS / TikTok Live Studio card, and copy the overlay link. Paste it as a Browser Source in OBS, or add it through Add Source → Link in TikTok Live Studio, at 1920 × 1080.

Use the Customize button on the same card to change how this overlay looks.

Never installed an overlay before? Read Installing Overlays in OBS & TikTok Live Studio first. It walks through each step.

Important settings

The Customize button opens Customize Goal Overlay:

Current ValueThe current value, which you can adjust by hand
When the Target is ReachedWhat happens when the target is hit

Random Interaction when the target is reached

The Interaction when the target is reached field is easy to overlook. It accepts more than one Interaction, and its behavior depends on how many you add:

Number of InteractionsBehavior
1That Interaction always runs
2 or moreOne of them is picked at random each time the target is reached
Use several Interactions for long sessions

If you repeat the goal many times in one live, running the same Interaction every time gets boring. Add three or four variations, and each milestone feels different.

There's a limit on how many Interactions you can add. When you hit it, the dashboard tells you: "Maximum N Interactions. Remove one to add another."

Common problems

Symptom: the bar doesn't move. Check that your TikTok Live is connected and that Goal Target is set to a sensible number.

Symptom: the target is reached but there's no celebration. Interaction when the target is reached is empty, or the selected Interaction goes to a Screen whose overlay isn't added yet.

Symptom: the same Interaction always runs even though you added several. That means only one was saved. Check the list again, because random selection only kicks in with two or more.
