The IndoFinity desktop app
Most of IndoFinity runs in the browser. But there are a few things a browser cannot do, and that's what the desktop app is for.
Download it from the Download Application menu.
Desktop-only features
| Feature | Why it needs the desktop app |
|---|---|
| Simulate Keystrokes | A browser can't press keyboard keys in other applications |
| Soundboard shortcuts | They have to catch key presses while the IndoFinity window isn't focused |
| Win/Lose Bar global hotkeys | Same reason |
| WebSocket & Socket.IO API | The localhost endpoint is provided by the desktop app |
| Alternative Connection Mode | Only available on desktop |
All of the features above will look "broken" in the browser. They aren't broken; the browser simply can't run them.
Other reasons to use it
A steadier live connection. If pressing Connect to Live often fails or drops, the dashboard itself recommends the desktop version on the TikTok Live card: "Use the desktop version for a better experience."
No tab to close by accident. All event processing runs in whichever IndoFinity app is open. In a browser, one tab closed by accident makes every overlay go quiet. A separate app window is harder to close by mistake.
Manual token login. If the browser doesn't send you back to the app after you log in, there's a manual token route. See Creating an Account.
A game running as administrator blocks input from regular applications. Open IndoFinity with Run as Administrator so shortcuts and keystrokes keep working.
Common problems
Symptom: "Download not available". There's no download file for your device yet.
Symptom: keystrokes still don't work on desktop. Run the app as Administrator. Also check that the Keystroke switch in the Interaction Center is on.
