Donation Integration
Donations from outside platforms don't show up on your TikTok Live by themselves. Donation Integration connects them, so an incoming donation can trigger alerts, sounds, and TTS just like a regular TikTok gift.
What is Donation Integration
IndoFinity supports seven platforms:
Saweria · Sociabuzz · Trakteer · Tako · BagiBagi · Sibagi · TipTap
The connection runs through a webhook. You paste IndoFinity's webhook link into the donation platform's settings, and the platform notifies IndoFinity every time a donation comes in.
Before you start
You need an active account on the donation platform you want to connect, and access to its settings page.
Setup steps
The steps are the same for all seven platforms.
1. Get the webhook link from IndoFinity
- Open the Donation Integration menu in the dashboard.
- Switch to the Webhook Setup tab.
- Pick the platform you want to connect.
- Click the Webhook Link field to copy it.
2. Add it on the donation platform
Open the webhook settings on your donation platform and paste the link. Where that menu lives differs from platform to platform; it's usually under integration or developer settings.
3. Enter the token in IndoFinity
Each platform gives you a key that you enter back in IndoFinity. The name varies:
| Platform | Field name in IndoFinity |
|---|---|
| Saweria | Saweria Streamkey |
| Sociabuzz | Sociabuzz Webhook Token |
| Trakteer | Trakteer Webhook Token |
| Tako | Tako Webhook Token |
| BagiBagi | BagiBagi Webhook Token |
| Sibagi | Sibagi Webhook Token |
| TipTap | TipTap Verification Token |
Fill in the field, then click Save.
Every setup page shows this warning: "Keep your webhook link and streamkey secure, do not let others know this data."
Anyone who has your webhook link can send fake donations to your overlay. If it has already leaked, you can ask the admin for a new link.
4. Create an alert for donations
Connecting the platform doesn't put anything on screen yet. You still need an Interaction and an Activity:
-
Open the Interaction Center and create an Interaction, for example Show Alert (User + Teks) with this text format:
{nickname} donated {amount} - {message} -
Create an Activity with the trigger [Integrasi] Mengirim Donasi Saweria (or whichever platform you use).
-
Point it at that Interaction.
Donations have three variables of their own: {nickname}, {message}, and {amount}. See Message Variables.
In the Activity, choose Range of quantity (min - max) if you want small and large donations to trigger different alerts. Create several Activities with ranges that don't overlap.
Incoming Support tab
The Incoming Support tab shows the donations IndoFinity has received: time, name, email, amount, message, and media.
This is the best diagnostic tool for donation integrations. If a donation appears in this table but no alert shows up, the webhook works and the problem is in the Interaction or Activity. If the table stays empty even though donations came in, the webhook isn't connected yet.
The Refresh button reloads the list.
Common problems
Symptom: the Incoming Support table is empty even though the platform received donations. The webhook isn't connected. Check that the webhook link is pasted correctly in the platform's settings and that the token is saved in IndoFinity.
Symptom: donations appear in the table, but no alert shows on screen. The webhook works. What's missing is an Activity with the [Integrasi] Mengirim Donasi ... trigger, or the Interaction points at a Screen whose overlay isn't installed.
Symptom: the donation alert appears, but the amount and message are empty.
The text format uses the wrong variables. Donations use {nickname}, {message}, and {amount}, not {username}, {comment}, or {coins}.
Symptom: the Saweria streamkey format is rejected. The message reads: "The streamkey format you entered is incorrect". Copy it again from Saweria and make sure no spaces came along with it.
The Simulator Panel in the Interaction Center has a Donation tab. Pick a platform and an amount, then send. This tests your Interaction and Activity without anyone actually donating.
Keep in mind that the simulator tests the alert, not the webhook connection. To confirm the webhook really works, check the Incoming Support tab.
