Win/Lose Bar
A win and loss scoreboard for OBS. Change the numbers from the dashboard or with a hotkey, and the overlay updates instantly.
What is Win/Lose Bar
Gaming streamers use it to show their record for the current session. Viewers can see how you're doing without asking, and it often becomes a talking point of its own.
Install the overlay
Open the Win/Lose Bar menu in the dashboard, find the Install Overlay in OBS / TikTok Live Studio card, and copy the overlay link. Paste it as a Browser Source in OBS, or add it through Add Source → Link in TikTok Live Studio, at 1920 × 1080.
Use the Customize button on the same card to change how this overlay looks.
Never installed an overlay before? Read Installing Overlays in OBS & TikTok Live Studio first. It walks through each step.
Four display styles
Pick one under Customize → Display style:
| Style | Look |
|---|---|
| Proportional Bar | One bar split according to the ratio of wins to losses |
| Scoreboard | Win and loss numbers side by side |
| Dual Bars | Two separate bars, one for wins and one for losses |
| Single Score | A single number |
In Single Score mode, the hotkey that normally adds a loss subtracts from the score instead. The dashboard shows a reminder about this while that mode is active.
Changing the score
There are three ways:
- From the dashboard, right on the page.
- With global hotkeys.
- Through the Interaction Center, with the Change Win/Lose Points action, so viewers change your score.
Global hotkeys
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enable global hotkeys | Turns hotkeys on |
| Hotkey to add a win | The key combination that adds a win |
| Hotkey to add a loss | The key combination that adds a loss |
| Hotkey to subtract from the score | The key combination that subtracts |
A browser can't catch key presses while its window isn't active. When you're playing a game, the game is the active window. For hotkeys, use the IndoFinity desktop app.
If a combination clashes with another one, the dashboard rejects it with "This combination is already used by another feature."
Through viewers
In the Interaction Center, create an Interaction with the Change Win/Lose Points action. The effect options are Add WIN, Subtract WIN, Add LOSE, Subtract LOSE, or Reset both scores to 0.
Attach it to an Activity, and viewers can change your score with gifts or comments.
The Interaction Center has a Win/Lose Points switch. When it's off, the score changes only through buttons and hotkeys, and viewer actions are ignored without any error message.
Important settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Win text & color | Label and color for the win side |
| Lose text & color | Label and color for the loss side |
| Score text & color | Label and color for Single Score mode |
| Color when the score is negative | A separate color for when the score goes negative |
| Target | Shown next to the score, like 10/30. Enter 0 if you don't want a target |
| Shown in OBS / Hidden from OBS | Hides the overlay without clearing the score |
The number 10 on its own means nothing to a viewer who just walked in. 10/30 shows right away what you're aiming for.
Reset Score
The confirmation reads: "Both win and lose counters go back to 0. This cannot be undone."
Common problems
Symptom: the hotkey doesn't work. You're using the browser, not the desktop app. See the warning above.
Symptom: viewers send gifts but the score doesn't change. Check that the Win/Lose Points switch in the Interaction Center is on and that the Activity is set up.
Symptom: the score changes but the overlay doesn't move. Reload the Browser Source, and make sure the status is Shown in OBS.
