Auction
Auction has viewers compete with gifts: whoever sends the highest total coins before time runs out wins. The participants and their positions show up live on the overlay.
What is Auction
Streamers use it to auction off goods or services, such as merchandise, boosting (joki) services, collaboration slots, or anything there's only one of. Gifts become the bids, and the leaderboard lets every viewer watch the competition.
Before you start
This feature reads events from your TikTok live, so it only works after you press Connect to Live in the Connection menu and the status shows connected.

Setup steps
1. Set up the auction
Open the Auction menu, then fill in Auction Settings:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Auction Title | The name of the item being auctioned, shown on the overlay |
| Timer Duration (seconds) | Length of the main round |
| Extra Time (seconds) | An automatic extra round after the main round ends. Enter 0 if you don't want one |
2. Run it
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Start Auction | Starts the timer and begins accepting gifts as bids |
| End Auction | Ends the auction early |
| Reset Auction | Removes all participants and returns to an empty state |
The three timer phases
The auction timer can go through three phases, and it moves between them automatically. Understand them before you use this in front of viewers.
[1] NORMAL ── ends ───▶ [2] EXTRA ── ends ───▶ [3] DRAW
main round only if Extra only if some
Time > 0 bidders are tied

FINISHED
- Normal: the main round, lasting the Timer Duration.
- Extra: follows automatically if Extra Time is set above
0. The overlay shows it as a separate round. - Draw: follows automatically if, once time runs out, participants are still tied for the top spot. It's a tiebreaker round between them.
If nobody is tied and Extra Time is 0, the auction ends right after the main round.
Extra Time always runs when its value is above 0, not only when someone bids in the last second. Think of it as a scheduled second round, not an emergency extension.
Install the overlay
Open the Auction menu in the dashboard, find the Install Overlay in OBS / TikTok Live Studio card, and copy the overlay link. Paste it as a Browser Source in OBS, or add it through Add Source → Link in TikTok Live Studio, at 1920 × 1080.
Use the Customize button on the same card to change how this overlay looks.
Never installed an overlay before? Read Installing Overlays in OBS & TikTok Live Studio first. It walks through each step.
The Customize button controls the look: Select Font, Font Size, Font Color, Background, Line Spacing, and Letter Spacing. There's also Reset to Default if you want to go back to the default look.
Vouch Points
Auction has an advanced feature: Vouch Points, a host reputation score that goes up when a winner confirms they received the item. It has its own page: Vouch Points. Read it before you turn it on, because some things can't be undone.
Common problems
Symptom: gifts come in but the participant list doesn't grow. The auction hasn't started. Gifts only count after you press Start Auction.
Symptom: the auction ends even though Extra Time is set.
Check that the value was actually saved and is above 0. The field saves when you move out of it.
Symptom: the overlay still shows the old auction. Press Reset Auction before starting a new session.
If the winner hasn't sent their vouch comment yet, the dashboard warns: "Resetting removes the participants so the vouch won't be detected automatically anymore, and the point cannot be added manually." Wait for the vouch to come in first, or that point is lost for good.
