Elimination Game
Viewers who send the trigger gift get a tile with their photo and name on screen. Every few seconds one tile is knocked out, until a single person is left. That person wins.
What is Elimination Game
A survival game that runs by itself once it starts. Viewers can improve their odds by sending more gifts, because each gift adds one tile, and the more tiles someone has, the longer they last.
Before you start
Your TikTok Live has to be connected.
Setup steps
1. Pick the trigger gift
In the Settings card, choose a Trigger gift. Without it, no tile can appear at all.
A 5× combo produces 5 tiles. The more tiles someone has, the longer they stay in the game, but the winner is the last person standing, not the last tile.
2. Set the rules
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delay between eliminations (seconds) | How often a tile is knocked out |
| Mode | Whether new people can join after the game has started |
| Title above the grid | Optional. Leave it empty to use the default title ELIMINATION MODE |
The two join modes:
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Lock in | The grid size never changes during the game |
| Allow joining | New tiles can still come in, including from people whose tiles are all gone |
Lock in gives every participant the same starting point, which is fairer when there's a prize. Allow joining lets newly arrived viewers take part, so the live doesn't lose momentum. People who were already knocked out can come back by sending another gift.
3. Run it
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Open Entries | Starts accepting participants from the trigger gift |
| Start Elimination | Starts the elimination countdown |
| Eliminate Now | Forces a round early and shifts the next one |
| Stop | Stops the game |
| Show / Hide | Controls whether the overlay appears in OBS |
| Reset | Returns to an empty state |
The game stops when one person is left, so with only one participant the winner is decided before the first round, no matter how many tiles they have.
Someone with 20 tiles who is the only participant still wins immediately.
Install the overlay
Open the Elimination Game menu in the dashboard, find the Install Overlay in OBS / TikTok Live Studio card, and copy the overlay link. Paste it as a Browser Source in OBS, or add it through Add Source → Link in TikTok Live Studio, at 1920 × 1080.
Use the Customize button on the same card to change how this overlay looks.
Never installed an overlay before? Read Installing Overlays in OBS & TikTok Live Studio first. It walks through each step.
The dashboard says: "One URL for every setting. Changing the scale or the rules never changes it."
You only need to add the Browser Source once. After that you can change settings freely without copying the link again.
Unlike Spin Roulette, whose panel appears and disappears on its own, the Elimination Game overlay stays on screen in OBS at all times, including after a winner. The winner card stays until you press Reset, Revive All, or Open Entries.
Display settings
The Customize button has a Scale (%) setting from 50 to 150, which shrinks or enlarges the whole grid inside the OBS frame.
Common problems
Symptom: no tiles appear. No Trigger gift has been selected. This is the most common cause, and the dashboard shows its own warning for it.
Symptom: new tiles don't come in even though someone sent a gift. Participants were locked in at the first elimination. New tiles won't come in until the game is reset or the join mode is changed to Allow joining.
Symptom: the game ends as soon as it starts. There is only one participant. See the minimum of 2 people warning above.
Symptom: the winner card won't go away. That's intentional. Press Reset or Open Entries for a new round.
