Vouch Points

Every live auction has the same basic problem: viewers have to send gifts first, before they receive the item. They need a reason to trust that the host will actually deliver.

Vouch Points exist for that. Each time an auction winner confirms their item arrived, the host's vouch points go up by one. That number becomes a track record the next viewers can see.

How it works

  1. The auction ends and there's a winner.
  2. You send the item to the winner.
  3. The winner types a comment containing the keyword in live chat.
  4. IndoFinity detects it, and your vouch points go up by 1.

Only comments from the auction winner count. Comments from anyone else with the same keyword are ignored.

Turning it on

In the Auction menu, open the Vouch Points section:

SettingWhat it does
Enable VouchTurns on detection of vouch comments from the auction winner
KeywordThe word the winner's comment must contain for the points to go up

Pick a keyword nobody would type by accident in normal conversation.

What you need to understand before using it

Viewers use vouch points to decide whether it's safe to send money first, so the rules are strict on purpose.

Points can't be edited by hand, and lost points can't be recovered

The dashboard's own explanation:

Vouch points are counted from the winner's comment and stored on the server. They cannot be edited manually, and the simulator panel will never add vouch points. Points lost to system failures (the page being closed or refreshed, an unstable connection, being disconnected from the live, and the like) are your own risk and cannot be recovered.

In practice:

  • There's no button to add points. If the winner forgets to type the vouch, that point is gone for good.
  • The Simulator Panel doesn't add points. This is deliberate: if the simulator could add points, the number would mean nothing.
  • The dashboard tab must stay open while the winner types the vouch. If it's closed or refreshed at that moment, the point isn't recorded.
Don't reset the auction before the vouch comes in

If the winner hasn't sent a vouch yet and you press Reset Auction, the dashboard warns you that the participants will be removed, so the vouch won't be detected automatically anymore, and the point can't be added manually.

Wait for the vouch to come in, then reset.

Reading point status

Each point has a marker showing where it came from:

MarkerMeaning
VerifiedRecorded through the verification system, so its origin is clear
LegacyA point from before the verification system existed, so its origin wasn't recorded
Waiting to syncDetected but not yet saved to the server

Other parts of the panel:

  • Active Host: the TikTok account that's currently connected and receiving points. If there isn't one, you'll see: "No host connected yet. Connect your TikTok account first."
  • All Hosts: a list of every host with their points.
  • Recent Vouch History: the vouches that just came in.
Why "Legacy" points exist

Legacy points were collected before the verification system was in place, so there's no record of where they came from. They're still shown as they are, but kept separate from Verified points so anyone can decide for themselves how much to trust them.

Honest limits

Vouch Points detect; they don't prevent. They only record that the winner typed the keyword. They don't prove the item actually arrived or matched what was promised.

Treat the number as one factor to consider, not a guarantee. Whether you're the host or a viewer, keep your own proof of delivery.

Common problems

Symptom: the winner commented but the points didn't go up. Check in order: Enable Vouch is on · the comment actually contains the keyword · the person commenting is the winner, not someone else · the dashboard tab was open when the comment came in · the auction hasn't been reset.

Symptom: you tried it through the Simulator Panel and the points didn't go up. That's the correct, intended behavior. The simulator will never add vouch points.

Symptom: the status is stuck on "Waiting to sync". There's a problem with the connection to the server. Make sure your internet is stable and keep the tab open.
